The Roborock Q7 Max is a powerful robot that is equipped with smart mapping and app-based no go zones. Its 180-minute running time is impressive. It also automatically replenishes and self-empties its water tank.
1. cleaning robots j7+ iRobot from iRobot.
The Roomba j7+ is iRobot's most advanced robot vacuum to date. Its biggest innovation is a camera-based obstacle detection system that makes use of built-in AI to detect objects such as charging cords, shoes, and the dreaded pet waste most other robots can't avoid (and often slough through). It's the first robot to send you a picture of an object that it encounters, so that you can instruct the robot to stay clear of it.
The Combo J7+ is the most efficient mop robot we've ever tested, removing spills and dirt with ease and leaving no trace that it was there. The iRobot app makes it easy to control. It can schedule cleanings and even create Keep Out Zones to ensure it doesn't clean in areas that you don't want. It's compatible with Alexa or Google Assistant so you can start and stop it using voice.
Its design is superior to the rest and features a sleek, top piece that looks more like a toy rather than a loud, loud one. The Clean Base Automatic Dirt Disposal System self-empties, which is great for reducing your cleanup time.
In our tests the j7+ performed quick to remove dust, dirt and pet hair. The counter-rotating rubber brushes kept the debris in place, instead of scattering it on the floor. It even was able to catch small gravel and sand, which most other robots can't. And it did all of this without getting tangled up in our pet's hair shedding.
The j7+, though not as smart as the Roomba S9, which costs $1,217+ Self-Emptying Vacuum Robot from iRobot, and it can't clean the stairs, is still an excellent choice for those who require both mopping and vacuum. It's not costly and the iRobot App makes it easy to use.
robot vacuum cleaner on sale is easy to use, however we found it less reliable than other robotic cleaner applications. It can take some time to download updates and it's sometimes difficult to know if they are working until you see them in action.
2. Roborock Q5+
If you're looking for a robotic vacuum cleaner that can do more than just clean your floors, a hybrid is the ideal choice. This type of robot typically comes with a built-in tank for water which means they can vacuum and mop your home at the same time. They also have a number of additional features, including smart mapping, small obstacle avoidance and even the ability to wash and dry mopping pads. They are expensive at retail, but usually lower prices on Black Friday or Cyber Monday.
Roborock is one of our favorite robot vacuums, and the Q5+ isn't an exception. It's their cheapest auto-empty model. While it lacks some of the features that are found on more expensive models (like no-go zones and multi-story memory) it's still an excellent option if you're willing to compromise a bit in order to save some hundred dollars.
The Q5+ is remarkably soft when it comes to obstacles like tables and walls. This makes it an ideal choice for homes that have lots of furniture. It's also very thorough in cleaning up dust bunnies. This is an area that many cheaper robot vacuums aren't able to meet. The Q5+'s navigation system is superb, with only a few mishaps along walls and in corners.
Like other Roborock devices like the Q5+, the Q5+ can be controlled by the buttons on the device or through the Roborock app. With the app you can start and stop cleaning, set schedules, create virtual barriers and no-go zones, and adjust your home map, or change the labeling of rooms.

If you decide to go with the Q5+ model, it comes with a brand new auto-empty dock, which was designed specifically to make this machine easy to maintain. It requires a screwdriver to install, but once in place the process of emptying the bin is relatively easy. It features a large LCD screen that is very useful in setting up schedules and adjusting settings. This feature isn't required for the majority of people, however it can help you to keep the robot's maintenance schedules.
3. Narwal Freo X Ultra
The Freo X Ultra is a well-rounded robot mop and vacuum that's astonishingly intelligent in its mopping and vacuuming capabilities. Its design and function are some of the most advanced available - but it's also pricey.
Its base station looks good and is hidden when it's not in use, and its size is relatively compact. But the station's main selling point is how it automates many tasks and functions that other robots leave to you. It stores clean and dirty water, it electrolyzes and heats the water (which most other robovacs require you to do) and empty the dust bin after vacuuming, and keeps your robot fully charged and clean.
Its vacuuming performance is also impressive. It's the only robovac that I've tested that does well at picking up the dust from floors with no. It's also not as loud as the more expensive Roomba 900 series or iRobot 980.
The Freo X Ultra is not without flaws, especially in the area of navigation. Its laser sensors and LiDAR sensors aren’t as reliable as other robotvacs. This means it could get stuck or get confused in certain corners or rooms in the home. It also can't climb stairs as well as other models and doesn't come with a docking station to create a cleaning area for plush carpets.
Although it doesn't have as many in terms of cleaning options available in its app or as many shortcuts in the app as other robovacs, the Freo X Ultra is still a top choice for those looking for a comprehensive mop and robot vacuum that's worth the premium price price.
However, if you're looking to save money or don't want to think about the limitations of this machine there are many other options on the market which include a variety of eufy models that cost considerably less. The eufy Qrevo Curv, for example is less expensive and offers the same experience in the app, but with more features like the ability to climb stairs, a full-function dock, and better overall performance when vacuuming floors as well as high- and low-pile carpets.
4. eufy RoboVac G30
Eufy is an Anker company that has an established track record of making robot vacuums that offer the perfect balance of features, performance and price. The G30 Hybrid offers a powerful cleaning power for hard and carpeted flooring, and mopping capabilities for a low cost. It's easy to set up, just snap one of the side brushes on, switch it on, and plug it into the charging dock. The app takes you through several steps to connect it to your Wi-Fi. After that, the G30 is ready to go. The dock should be placed near an outlet with plenty of room to move.
The G30 is a small device that measures 2.85 inches in height, meaning it is able to be tucked away under couches and low-clearance pieces furniture. Its design is less ostentatious when compared to rival models. It has a sleek black finish with three buttons that are physical for Auto Cleaning start/pause (which scrubs a spot in a spiral pattern over two minutes) Recharge, and Spot Cleaner. You can also connect the G30 with Amazon Alexa or Google Home to use voice commands to do routine cleaning tasks that are not scheduled.
The most important aspect that sets the G30 apart from most competitors is the method it cleans. It makes use of a built-in map to create an image of the immovable objects it encounters and then keeps track of what it has already cleaned and where it can't access. It automatically returns to the base to recharge and continues cleaning where it left off.
The eufy G30 isn't without its faults however. The iRobot Roomba 675 is more constructed, has lower recurring costs, charges faster and has a similar battery life, while providing superior performance on floors that are unfinished and carpets with a low pile. It also has a larger dust bin that doesn't need to be emptied as often and comes with the boundaries to restrict it from certain areas. The G30 is less expensive and easier to maintain. Its smaller dust container doesn't need emptying as often and it has less trouble with heavy materials like cereal.
